Terms and Conditions: Subject to availability and driver qualification. Additional drivers must be age 25 and over. No credit for unused fuel. A tank of fuel is not included when picking up from Manhattan. Enhanced Plus includes a GPS for the duration of the rental. National’s standard terms and conditions apply.

Collision Damage Waiver

An option, that if purchased at an additional charge per day or included in your reserved rate, eliminates responsibility for damage to or loss of a National rental vehicle as long as terms of the rental agreement have not been violated.

Collision Damage Waiver is referred to as Damage Liability Waiver for rentals in the UK.

Collision Damage Waiver is NOT insurance.

It covers any damage to or loss of the rental vehicle.

Please note that minimum excess limit that CDW covers you for, may vary by country and vehicle type.

For rentals in the United States and Canada, protection applies as long as the terms of the rental agreement have not been violated. Inclusive rates will include CDW and Theft Protection (TP).

For rentals in Latin America and the Caribbean, inclusive rates will include CDW and Theft Protection (where available) with a deductible varying from $500-$1500 USD.

Exceptions

Argentina
Purchase of CDW is mandatory and not covered by credit cards in Argentina. Some credit cards however, may cover the CDW deductible. Please contact your credit card company to verify coverage.

Canada
The deductibles for rentals at National corporately owned locations are as follows:
25 and older age group - The responsibility of the customer is up to the first CAD 300 of damage to the vehicle.
21 - 24 age group - The responsibility of the customer is up to the first CAD 500 damage to the vehicle.

Liability Protection

If already included in the reserved rate or purchased at the counter, Liability Protection (LP) provides up to an aggregate single limit of:-

$1,000,000 third-party liability
$100,000 uninsured or underinsured motorist (um/ump) protection
$100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident um/uim in New York
$20,000 per person/$40,000 per accident/$15,000 property damage per accident um/uim in Texas.

LP is not available at all locations.

Taxes, Surcharges, and Fees
